Midday Valencia tests report

University has been keeping me busy today, but I’ve just got time for a quick post about today’s test sessions.

So far there have been three red flags, caused by Rubens Barrichello, Paul Di Resta, and Nico Rosberg – his second testing red flag so far. We’ve seen a few brief stints by the Lotus but no lap time set yet.
Fastest of the eleven set times today has been Alonso, with a 1:13.469. Next Vettel, still in the 1:13s, and Paul Di Resta with another fast time. Slowest of all, unsurprisingly, is Narain Karthikeyan in the 2010 Hispania.
Having their first day on track are Hamilton, Kubica, Perez and Glock – they’ve already set times – and after lunch, we should see Webber, Maldonado and Buemi on track.
