Former HRT driver Christian Klien is the final of the four to find a team for 2011. Not in F1, however. While Bruno, Karun and Sakon have become reserve drivers, Christian has gone to drive for Aston Martin in the Le Mans Series. He will be driving for the team at the 24 Hours of Le Mans event in June, as well as other races.
“Having competed in three F1 races in 2010, I wanted to continue to race with a team that gave me consistency, at the top level of motorsport,”
True enough, I suppose, though HRT’s consistency will hopefully not be comparable to Aston Martin’s. The Austrian drove for Red Bull for their first two seasons before Mark Webber came in, so he’s got talent. And good luck to him and the team for 2011.
