FIA Announce 2012 Calendar

The FIA have announced the final calendar for the 2012 season, which features seven back-to-back races! Two of those come at the start of the season with Australia/Malaysia and China/Bahrain. Contrary to Bernie Ecclestone’s proposal, Bahrain will be in April not November. Turkey is also gone. The next back-to-back is Germany/Hungary just as in this season, but the next is Belgium/Italy at the start of September, with no racing at all in August. The end of the season features three sets of back-to-back overseas races in a row: Japan/South Korea, India/Abu Dhabi and US/Brazil. It’s going to be a tiring end of season, which means we might see some surprising results. The season start and end are the same as this year.
