First GP3 driver signed for 2012

American racing driver Ethan Ringel has set his goal on Formula One, and after a GP3 test with Atech CRS has decided to join the team for the 2012 season. He will be the fourth American to drive in GP3 after Alexander Rossi, Josef Newgarden and Conor Daly. He is the first driver to be confirmed for next season, though I suspect Conor Daly will be returning with Carlin.
Atech CRS had an awful 2011 season, scoring seven points thanks to Nick Yelloly at the British Grand Prix. They will naturally be hoping for better next year.
