Countdown to 2013 Formula One season: 96 days
Yeah, it’s the holidays. Not much going on.
Stat of the Day:
From 1957 until 2005, every F1 season had at least one race won by a British contstructor. Only 1950-1956 and 2006 have not seen a British constructor win. Indeed in the 1960s and 1970s British constructors were incredibly successful. In 1973, Tyrrell, McLaren and Lotus won all eleven races. All three also had Ford engines.
