Countdown to 2013 Formula One season: 70 days
IndyCar race winner Graham Rahal is 24 today!
Sauber will be launching the C32 on February 2nd, three days before the first test.
Stat of the Day:
Graham Rahal joined IndyCar after the collapse of Champ Car. He missed the first race of the 2008 season after his car was damaged in testing, and so his first IndyCar race was at St Petersburg. He spun early on, but went on to win the race by three and a half seconds from Helio Castroneves. Aged just 19 at the time, he became the youngest person to win a major American open wheel race, and only the fourth driver to win their first IndyCar race. The youngest F1 race winner is Sebastian Vettel, who also won in 2008 at the Italian Grand Prix.
