Countdown to 2013 Formula One Season: 34 days

Jon Lancaster took both pole positions at the final round of the MRF Formula 2000. Championship leader Jordan King qualified well ahead of his rival Conor Daly.
Sebastien Ogier has stormed into a strong lead at Rally Sweden, 30 seconds ahead of Sebastien Loeb.
Kimi Raikkonen was fastest on the final day of testing at Jerez. Pedro de la Rosa suffered a fire in his Ferrari which was repaired but cut the team’s testing time. Testing was extended by 30 minutes after the track had to be repaired.

Stat of the Day:
Three drivers have done over 1000km in testing so far: Esteban Gutierrez with 1116km, Paul di Resta with 1063km, and Felipe Massa with 1005km.
The team that has done the most testing distance so far is Sauber, with 1904km. Second are Red Bull (1647km) and third are Force India (1581km).
