A twelfth team has been announced for the 2013 FIA Formula 3 Championship, so contrary to yesterday’s blog post I am pleased to talk about four teams today.
Jo Zeller racing is a Swiss team owned by Swiss racing driver Jo Zeller, 12 times Swiss F3 champion. They have not yet announced any drivers for the coming season.
Romeon Ferrari was announced yesterday, and has so far announced one driver. Michela Cerruti is a young, talented Italian driver who impressed in the Superstars series and got a win in the Italian GT series.
URD Rennsport are yet to announce their single driver for 2013.
Van Amersfoort racing have a strong history, and have two drivers for European F3. Mans Grenhagen was third in the Euro F3 Open last year. Denis van de Laar has competed in a number of series, including German F3, and will hope to get some podiums this year.
It would probably be quicker to name the drivers who have no chance in this year’s European F3 season than those who could shine. This really will separate the men from the boys in racing.
