On This Day:
The 1991 USA GP was the last GP in the country until 2000. Pole and win went to Senna, but it also marked the debut for Mika Hakkinen and Mark Blundell, as well as the Jordan and Modena teams.
In 1996, Jaques Villeneuve made his F1 debut and took pole at the first Australian GP to take place at Albert Park. His teammate Damon Hill won. It was the first race to use the 107% rule in qualifying.

Will Buller was the fastest driver on the second day of European F3 testing. Rookie Jordan King was second-fastest and Harry Tinknell was third-fastest.
Seb Ogier continues to lead Rally Mexico as other drivers have lost time or been forced to retire.
Tom Dillmann has been signed to Russian Time for the 2013 GP2 teason.
